Reforming processes in Georgia were mainly based on WTO norms and European Union standards. The reforms aimed to improve business environment. Global privatization programs were introduced, service of customs and tax bodies became more organized and significant progress was achieved in the fight against corruption. Important progress has been made in the banking sector, telecommunications, the field of international trade, as well as in some of the regulating spheres.Посилання
