Foreign capital in the banking system of Ukraine: analytical modeling and forecasting.

The article analyzes the current trends of the domestic banking business in terms of the presence of foreign capital. Modeled the fraction of banks with foreign capital in the total number of banks on factors such as foreign direct investment (FDI) into Ukraine, return on assets (ROA), GDP, exports of services, net interest margin, which is based on the forecast of the share of banks with foreign capital in the total number of banks until 2017 for two scenarios. Based on the analysis concluded that the main factors stimulating the increased presence of foreign capital in Ukrainian banking sector are favorable conditions for foreign economic activity - in particular, the promotion of FDI in Ukraine and Ukrainian exports of services.References
