Prerequisites for the formation of a new type of socio-labor relations in the context of the information revolution.

Abstract

In the article we study the information revolution of 50-70's of the 20th century, which shifted the focus from increasing output in standardized mass production to the organization of innovative production of goods with high innovative value. Using the potential of knowledge as a driver of growth in the new economy allows achieving unprecedented performance in the public production and contributes to the formation of a new type of socio-labour relations, under which the functions of the employee is not restricted to a set of externally preset commands and instructions, but expands, creating the necessary conditions for efficient cognition and the production of the new value in the global knowledge society. In the article we examine the basic coordination models, potentially capable of creating a specific institutional field of cognitive subjects’ interaction and ensuring high efficiency of transactions, the subject of which is knowledge. As an optimal model we define a network, on the basis of which a new type of socio-economic organization, the epistemic community is formed.
