Accumulation of human capital in the operation of the household.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the question of the theoretical and methodological, organizational, economic and applied bases deepening of human capital accumulation by means of households development. The content of the "human capital" category in relation with the kindred concepts, is investigated; human capital of household as part of the society human capital is analyzed; main features of the human capital accumulation system are described. Key characteristics and problems of Ukrainian households are systematized in the context of their influence upon the human capital; the tendencies of investing in human capital at the households level are analyzed; the role of the state and households as investors of the human capital accumulation in Ukraine is described. Measures of regulation of the human capital accumulation at the macroeconomic level have been developed, corporate social responsibility in the system of human capital accumulation have been investigated; main directions of households development as a basic condition for the Ukrainian human capital formation have been proposed.
