Abstract
In the information society is significantly increasing importance of computer information and communication technologies (ICT) to increase the effectiveness of both the internal and contributing to the development of foreign trade relations. To apply modern technology such technology BI (Business Intelligence).The authors highlight the concept of BI (Business Intelligence) and the application of this approach in knowledge management, in particular for storage and retrieval of knowledge. The article describes the history of BI technology and analyzes its features and benefits, as well as the results of research on aspects that provide the greatest influence on the success of the introduction of BI-making activities in companies developing foreign trade relations.
